On one of the walkthoughs it says to drop a totem in the middle of the mosaic after puzzles 6 and 10 to reveal the peice of the gong. I have done that and still no gong!!! I completed all the other puzzles, bought all the techs, and have 16 totems! What the hell! Its been 3 days and nothing. Is it hidden? Do I have to bring a master scientist or whatever to the mosaic. Where is it? Anyone who has beat the game please give me detailed instructions as to how you got this gong piece please…. and also anybody know how many special stews there are?

Besides the obvious, what is the difference? I’m using the grout on stained glass for mosaic type projects. What one is best for glass and tile?

So my mom and I have had this idea for a long time that we would tile our pool deck. We want to do a mosaic deck. Now I realize that this will take a long time and a lot of work, but we are ready and really would like to do this.

My question is… What kind of tile is good for this? It’s an outside, in-ground pool. We live in Florida, so as weather goes it is usually pretty hot and humid. We need tile, that won’t break when people are walking on it, and is very colorful.

If you possibly know what kind of tile is good for this maybe you could also help me with this question… Where can I buy this tile? (Possibly in bulk)

I’m interested in covering an old metal bathtub with a worn ceramic finish in a tile mosaic. The tub would essentially function as a shower base as it is too shallow for an adult to bathe comfortably in it. I would really appreciate some ideas on the best adhesive to use for this project.
Thanks you two :) I will look into what you have suggested. Unfortunately, I was not able to use your link, Reyn. I have a virus on my computer that reroutes my searches to advertisments…totally sucks. Anyhow, I appreciate your answer.

I have a pretty small bathroom. The floors and shower are tiled beige w/ the same color grout. There’s a decorative border of black glass mosaic tile in the shower. The vanity is oak with a black & beige granite top. Bathtub & toilet are white. Shower curtain is beige. Shower rings are shiny black acrylic squares (matches waste can & tissue cover). Two small bath mats are black. There are no windows. What wall color would best complement this scheme?

I am finishing my bathroom and am short 15 feet of tile. The tile is mosaic Maioliche dell’Umbria from the Sadon group. My local tile dealer wants a foot – can I get it cheaper any where?

I want to make a mosaic heart or picture frame for my best friends birthday.
I made one for my bf and bought a kit, which was rinky dink. If I want to begin from scratch what are good glass pieces to buy or can I shatter my own glass (china plates, tile?)

Just looking for resources or advice on planning a design and choosing the right glass/tile pieces

I know the height is going to be an issue, but I don’t mind.
Thing is, there are some mosaic tiles on the floor, very solidly there. Is it going to be a complete nightmare to remove these as opposed to larger tiles? is it easier to tile on top of them, and considering the amount of grout vs glazed area, should it stick even better than large tile upon large tile? since the new tiles have a lot of the old grout to bond to as well?
How durable is it to tile on top of tile?

Also there’s a raised concrete platform underneath the kitchen counter tops. It’s how they did it in the old days…. how hard would that be to get rid of? probably best to leave that ?

Another tile question… can you cut a round hole in ceramic tiles for a wood burning stove flu? (snorkel type)

      Thank you very much
